About Hamlet Buildings Ltd

Formed in 1996 through the collaboration of two Kentish men renovating their own oak framed buildings, Hamlet Buildings Ltd manufactures a range of oak framed buildings. This has extended from simple barns to bespoke structures including home offices, studios, garden rooms, swimming pool covers, gazebos stables, and bespoke oak framed homes.

The company currently constructs in excess of 400 bays, or their equivalent, every year for clients both nationwide and on the near continent.

All buildings are manufactured from the Ruckinge factory in Kent and tight quality control is exercised through the use of highly skilled in-house craftsmen.

Hamlet invites all clients, where possible, to come and visit our yard to see their project being fabricated, we extend the same invitation to clients having house frames or extension frames manufactured, this enables you to be involved in the growth of your new home.

See the jointing of large beams, a process that has not changed for hundreds of years, explaining the function of each component, how it works and why wooden pegs are hand made to hold the structure together. This is well worth the time, a valuable insight to the construction of your building.
