From simple field shelters and looseboxes, hay stores, tack rooms and even entire complexes of equestrian oak framed stables, our timber stables are one of our most popular product ranges. To date, Hamlet Buildings have been commissioned to design, build and install many styles of timber stables - many of which include the archetypal arched oak bracing that has now become such a familiar elegant design feature so synonymous with these otherwise sturdy, durable and functional timber outbuildings.

We know how important it is to create practical stabling that caters for the various needs of your horses, ponies and other livestock. We understand that need for extra shelter from the bleak weather in the winter months, and deep shading from the blistering heat during the summer. That's why all of our timber stables and stable blocks incorporate a built-in extra-deep 'overhang' design with large oak posts and curved braces to provide the right level of protection from the elements.

Durability is another common factor in our designs, and as such it is standard practice for us to finish our stable doors with lined ply, as well as galvanised trim plates to discourage chewing damage. Our timber stables are also finished with reclaimed roof tiles for an added authentic charm, and can feature additional 'wow' factors such as a dovecot for some classic country style.
